Wind & Sun were pleased achieve both ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 accreditation thereby strengthening our position as a key distributor in the supply chain for renewable energy in the UK.

These accreditations acknowledge the professional standards we set at Wind & Sun and ensure that our customers consistently receive high standards of service and quality.

The international environmental management standard of ISO 14001 is recognised in over 150 countries. It is awarded to companies that document and regularly review their systems and products with the aim of evaluating all areas where its activities have an environmental impact or benefit. As part of the ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 accreditation process Wind & Sun has successfully implemented an Integrated Management System (IMS) which incorporates both the Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and together these are being used to drive continual environmental and quality improvements throughout the entire organisation.

Whilst highlighting the moral and social obligations, good environmental practice makes good business sense as it improves overall efficiency as well as inspiring customer confidence.
