Marlec Solar iBoost+
The Marlec Solar iBoost+ automatically diverts excess solar generation (normally exported to the grid) to an immersion heater saving money on water heating costs, reducing use of the boiler and increasing self-consumption of free solar energy.
The Solar iBoost+ uses proportional technology so that any excess generation over 100W is diverted to the immersion heater. It leaves a 100W export buffer to ensure it deals smoothly with the changing use of household energy and the PV array’s generation.
- Works with up to two immersion heaters each rated up to 3kW
