Steca Solarix MPPT 3020 and 5020
These controllers use maximum power point tracking and are optimally suited for solar systems with module voltages higher than the battery voltage. In particular, they enable PV modules that are used for grid-connected systems to also be used off-grid.
-
Steca Solarix PRS
Simple high performance PWM solar charge controllers with modern design and a convenient LED display.
-
Steca Solsum
Easy to use PWM charge controller ideal for small systems with up to 10A charge/load current.
-
Steca Tarom
The Steca Tarom sets new standards in this power class. A graphic display informs the user about all important system data and enables configuration and adjustment of the controller to the specific requirements of the individual system for optimal control and battery protection.
Integrated data logger stores all important system data which can then be read by the minute via an open Steca UART interface.
Two additional switching contacts can be freely configured as a timer, a night light function, to start generators or as surplus management. Up to six devices can be connected in parallel and communicate with one another via the StecaLink bus. -
Steca Tarom MPPT
Sophisticated 60A 12/24/48V MPPT charge controllers with 180VDC maximum input voltage
-
Steca Temperature Sensor
All Steca solar charge controllers have an integrated temperature sensor that makes them capable of adjusting the charging to suit temperature conditions. However, if the battery is installed in a different room to the controller a n additional external temperature sensor should be used.
-
SunClix Connector
- Rating 1000V, 40 A (with 4 mm² cable)
- Compatable with conductors from 2.5 to 6 mm²
- Temperature rating: up to 85 °C ambient temperature
-
Sunny Island Accessories
Sunny Island Accessories for older model Sunny Island inverters
-
Sunny Island Battery Backup Distribution Switch Box
An automatic transfer switch, suitable for the SMA 'Flexible Storage System' which allows operation to continue in case of main power blackouts. Contactors ensure compliant earth switching.
-
Sunny Island Battery/Inverter Breaker
Double pole circuit breakers. These protect the DC cables between batteries and inverters against overcurrent and short-circuit and allow easy isolation for installation or maintenance of the inverters.
-
Sunny Island Load Shedding Contactors
Allows disconnection of loads in event of low battery state of charge. Controlled by signal from programmeable relays inside the Sunny Island inverter.
-
Sunny Island Shunts
Used to measure DC current when there are loads or charge sources directly connected to the battery. Allows the Sunny Island inverters to include these in it's state of charge calculations and ensure accurate battery charging.
-
Sunny Island Temperature Sensor
Used with the Master inverter of each cluster with lead acid batteries to ensure correct battery charging.
-
Sunny Sensorbox
This provides means of monitoring solar insolation, temperature and wind speed as long term data monitoring and checking performance of a wind or solar system. Includes solar cell with +/- 8% accuracy. Optional higher accuracy cells, wind anemometer, and temperature sensors. Easy to connect via RS485 or Bluetooth to Sunny WebBox and from there data can be transferred to Sunny Portal for graphical display and further analysis.
